Juggle gets fit with Fit4Mom

March, in like a lion, out like a lamb, they say.  Well, it has us looking forward to spring, just three weeks away!  And thinking about how to prepare for bathing suit season while there’s still time to tighten things up!  Finding time for fitness can be difficult for moms who juggle jobs, kids, husbands, houses and pets.  We found Fit4Mom–the country’s largest fitness program for moms, offering pre and post-natal fitness classes for every stage of motherhood–to be a perfect solution.  So dust off your jogging strollers, and read on.

Fit4Mom is dedicated to the Strength In Motherhood™ by providing classes and support to moms in every stage of motherhood, including Fit4Baby’s prenatal fitness classes, Stroller Strides, and Body Back.  Stroller Strides allows moms to work out with their children in tow. Fit4Mom shares Juggle’s mission in making moms’ lives easier.  Both companies were built by moms, for moms, so partnering with local affiliates in our markets just makes sense.  Meet the Fit4Mom owners in our communities, who are working to help moms achieve their ultimate potential, both physically and emotionally.

Amber Decker is the owner of the Dublin, Ohio Fit4Mom and is the proud mom of 3 children with her husband, Mike.  A personal trainer, Amber was excited to find Fit4Mom following the birth of her daughter in 2013, when she joined the Raleigh, NC Stroller Strides.  She loved the community it provided, so when she found herself moving twice in two years, she made sure she was always based near a Fit4Mom location.  She started the Dublin franchise because she wanted to give other moms the confidence and community Fit4Mom gave her as a new mom. She currently offers Stroller Strides 4 days a week in 2 locations. In the spring and summer, she has 6 morning classes, and an evening class, and plans to start Fit4Baby this month.  Find out more about Fit4Mom Dublin on their website, www.dublin.fit4mom.com

Terra Kubert, owner of Columbus North F4M (serving Westerville, Worthington, Lewis Center & Powell), attended her first Stroller Strides class in Phoenix, AZ when her daughter was just 6 months old. In July 2015, her family–husband and 3 littles– relocated to Columbus and she found a Stroller Strides class right away. She became an instructor in June 2016 and purchased her franchise last year. She wants to share her love of health and fitness along with being there to support moms through the journey of motherhood.  She believes it takes a village to help you through those times and FIT4MOM offers just that.  You can learn more about the classes Terra offers, including Stroller Strides, Stroller Barre & Fit4Baby, through her website,  http://www.columbusnorth.fit4mom.com.

Courtney Simmons and Jessica Ginter started Fit4Mom Columbus East, serving Gahanna and New Albany, in July 2017.  It was a natural path for these two fitness fanatics who met at a Stroller Strides class.  Courtney has always had a passion for health & fitness. She has been instructing TRX and bootcamp style classes for the past 7 years. When she was on maternity leave for her first son, she discovered Fit4Mom and was hooked.  Her drive to inspire and encourage others led her to exit corporate America and join her partner, Jessica, in giving moms an amazing workout and friendship at the same time.

Jessica, a certified hot yoga instructor, was a full time mom and lover of all things health and wellness, when she joined Fit4Mom in the summer of 2016.  As a busy mom of an infant she understood the struggles of balancing work, family and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  Through Fit4Mom, she is able to give moms the ability to be at their physical best, while being with their children.

Fit4Mom Columbus East currently offers Stroller Strides and Fit4Baby, a prenatal fitness class.  Find out more from their website: https://columbuseast.fit4mom.com.

Erin DiNicola is the proud owner of Fit4Mom Charleston and she and her active military duty husband have two kiddos, two pups and a cat, so she knows something about juggling it all.  As a former competitive runner and hurdler who participated in the junior Olympics, turning her lifelong passion for fitness into a career was a no-brainer.  In addition to her Fit4Mom certifications, she is a certified to teach yoga, Barre and TRX Barre. FIT4MOM Charleston has classes six days a week at multiple locations throughout Charleston, offering Stroller Strides, Stroller Barre and Fit4Baby, our prenatal fitness program.  You can learn more at http://www.charleston.fit4mom.com.

Missy Currin is a “retired” Labor and Delivery Nurse and Nurse Educator turned FIT4MOM owner with a passion for the health and well-being of mothers and their children. She started FIT4MOM Midtown Raleigh in 2010 with Stroller Strides classes, when her son was just 1. Now he is 9 and Missy has 2 more children ages 2 & 5 who ride in the stroller. She offers Stroller Strides, Stroller Barre, Prenatal Fit4Baby, Body Back Transformation and Run Club at locations all throughout Midtown Raleigh and Wake Forest, NC.  You can learn more and join a class by following this link: midtownraleigh.fit4mom.com.

What we got from speaking with all of the Fit4Mom owners was that they truly valued the community they were creating among their participants.  Each one of them is passionate and dedicated to creating an atmosphere where friendships are created.  No kid or stroller necessary, you can go to any Fit4Mom close to where you live.  The first class is always FREE, so try a few different locations to find your fit (pun intended).  Fit4Mom caters to all fitness levels, and you can expect a 60-minute full body workout from any one of their classes.  And no commitment necessary, you can opt to purchase a membership, or take advantage of their drop-in rates.  Anytime you can put fun and fitness in the same sentence is a win as far as we’re concerned, so check them out and put the spring back in your step!
